“Are LA Sunshine Laws adequate in today’s 21st Century World?”

The May 26th Leaders With Vision public policy forum at Drusilla Restaurant will discuss LA Sunshine laws, which cover Open Records and also discuss the concerns for individual privacy in the electronic age of drones, cell phones, etc.  Confirmed panelists at press time are:  Senator Dan Claitor; Representative Dee Richard; Former Executive Editor of The Advocate-Carl Redman; & Transparency Advocate and Louisiana Voice Editor-Tom Aswell. 

Invitations have been extended to the Attorney General, Secretary of State, and the Manship School of Journalism to send a representative.
The Legislative Auditor has supplied information to be distributed to the audience on current law.

Where:  Drusilla Place, 3482 Drusilla Lane, in the Audubon Room.
When:   Thursday, May 26, 2016. Doors open to press and audience at 11:15 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:45 with the forum beginning promptly at noon.
